Has anyone read Rice Broock's book, God's Not Dead?

I was reading this book, "God's Not Dead." Written by Rice Broock's In this book, he starts to claim that God isn't dead and he refutes the claims that atheists have about God and religion. Especially Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris. And i have to agree with Rice Broock. I clearly was baptized in a Catholic Christian family and i continue to take my religious convictions seriously. If I had any shred of doubt that God is real, i be in deep trouble with God. But i don't doubt that he's real. Christians, prove me right. Atheists, prove me wrong.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion. Full Stop.

The book's on my pile, but I sort of lost interest in it after a while.

Maybe pick it up and try again....

No, I have read many books, and I realize there is no sound evidence that any gods exist. If you choose to worship God rather than Zeus. Odin, Amaterasu, Yu Ti, Shiva, Ahuramazda, Marduk, etc., then you should prove these many other gods do not exist. If you could actually find a method to prove these gods do not exist, I could use it to prove that your god does not exist either. I am reasonably certain that this man cannot actually refute claims made by atheists.

HAS "ANYONE" read.... according to the Narrative the Questioner has or is

.that being the "QUESTION " presented it is SELF answered the next part is is NOT a QUESTION . but a Challenge or a command ...

. as an ATHEIST I do not have to PROVE ANYTHING , the word ATHEIST is a PERSON

    A = WITHOUT THEO = God

    a person without a GOD CONCEPT .

which is a RESPONSE to PEOPLE THEIST in SOCIETY who present CLAIM of GOD(S) and Promote such claims ...called PROPOSITIONS ( proposals )

.. GOT a INDEPENDENT of mere THEIST ASSERTION "SELF EVIDENT "GOD " .

.. I will agree the IDEA and CONCEPT persist ..in society

. as what the Author is USING the WORDS "NOT DEAD ." .... not SURE .. I know how the word NOT is used and the word DEAD is USED in language

NOT used as an auxiliary VERB or "BE" to form a NEGATIVE

DEAD as an ADJECTIVE as the permanent cessation of all VITAL functions

as an ADVERB COMPLETED or absolute

as a NOUN those who have died...

. so one is reading a Book to "RE-ENFORCE " ones already held CONVICTIONS ...

seems some people NEED to do that ....BECAUSE ------------ fill in the blank

people are FREE to have a GOD belief , Just don't tell me I have to do "X" based on that which one can not demonstrate or ones DOCTRINE or have RELIGIOUS LAW become CIVIL LAW .....

. HOPE you used your LIBRARY CARD .. otherwise one just paid another "THEIST" to tell you what you already Think .

. I suspect it wasn't really THOUGHT provoking like Atheist use questions

WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE and WHY do you BELIEVE IT

    Extraordinary Claims require Extraordinary Evidence

Based on the atrocious reviews of the B movie made from that book, it's reasonable to conclude that the book is also a hot flaming mess. Since the detailed reviews well pointed out that the film made up out of nothing what atheism is, and then sttacked their own straw whore.

There is no evidence that any deity exists or can exist. Deal with it.

I don't need that book to be convinced that God exists. The existence of a Supreme Being makes sense to me, and I've seen miracles.

    God be with you.

Christians, prove me right. Atheists, prove me wrong.

    - To begin, fundies cannot prove you right until you actually produce a deity. Until then it is nothng more than a belief. And since most atheists have gone beyond sixth grade they know that you cannot prove a negative. So "believe" what you want, but you prove nothing. And since most "holy books" are nothing more than poor plagiarisms of the Sumerian tablets, you have "proof" of nothing.

I've seen all the arguments for a god. They're still full of holes. No one has come up with an argument that's convincing to those who don't believe. Those books sound great to believers because they essentially say, "You're so right and so wise, and those unbelievers are so foolish. Let me tell you what fools they are. Let me stroke your ego and tell you how incredibly insightful you are."

Long-term unbelievers have heard and rejected every single standard argument for a god. I can't prove you wrong because you're locked into the logical fallacies about a god that you need in order to feel wise. You won't give up the feeling of superiority and great wisdom you get from reading books like that.
