What is the proper distance to plant a Blue Spruce Juniper from the house?

Update:

What is the proper distance to plant a Blue Spruce Juniper from the house? I have one planted approx 7 feet from foundation. Should I be worried?

3 feet should do it providing you are talking shrubs not trees

Those trees are both highly flammable. You don't want them growing close enough to the house to ignite in the event of a fire.

You should always plant trees far away from your house for foundation issues as well as safety issues. In heavy storms trees can fall over, is it far enuf away that if it falls one day, it won't destroy your home. 7' sounds too close.

And just an FYI, for whatever reason mice love living in junipers. We cut down ours years ago for that reason.
