are the old analog bag cell phones worth keeping for anything?

I have two that were excellent phones when i had my business and used them as long as I could but the phone company finally made me get digital phones.

As the old 2G analog networks have been discontinued in favor of new generations (3G, 4G / LTE & the upcoming 5G), such cell phones are only good as collector relics... something that people like to collect from bye-gone eras for nostalgia purpose. Museums may include it as part of an exhibit of phones & possible create a micro 2G network of their own for demo purposes, but that's about it.

The analog cell phone network is gone, so they can't be used anymore. but they are still collectible

Keep them, those are collectors items. Store them away somewhere for another 20 years (remove any batteries so it doesnt corrode and ruin the value).
