How can I become a tight end, linebacker, defensive end, ect (maybe even running back)?

Im 14 and I am 5 foot 11 inches (a few inches taller than the majority of the other people in my grade) and I weigh 215. Im fairly strong compared to the other people in my grade. I've played o line tackle when i was little. I don't really want to play that position for the rest of highschool. I'm just wondering if there's anyway possible that I might be able to get in a more skilled position. Im mean i love pushing some people around but not all the time. Would tight end or defensive end ever be a possibility or is it inevitable that I will be a lineman again?

A 3-4 Outside Linebacker will generally be expected to rush the passer effectively. ... A 4-3 Defensive End is expected to rush the passer effectively and will be graded similarly to the 3-4 LB. A 3-4 DE is expected to occupy multiple blockers and "gaps" (potential running lanes) so that the Linebackers can make plays

Based on your height and weight, as well as your strength, I believe that you will make a very good fit at defensive end. Considering your age, your size gives you the potential to become an elite high school defensive end.

My best advice for you is to work hard and perform very well in practice every day. In addition, what you need to do this (and every) summer is eat healthy, exercise by doing weight lifting, and either jogging or going for a long run every day. If you do these things, you will get faster, stronger, and into better shape, which will greatly improve your chances of becoming a successful, top notch defensive end in high school football, who could go on to play college football in the future.

Based on what you said about yourself the best option for you would be to be a water boy or towel boy, if you work hard at it you might make it.
