Home Depot does, but their saw is not super straight.

    They don't charge for cutting.

I've given them a good workout before.

I think the Lowes near me also has a saw, which also is not real straight.

this is not free .... you pay for all cuts ..... it is possible that you can find some good used, serviceable tools at a pawn shop ... with proper care and storage those tools can last you a long time ...............

Most Lowes or Home Depots have a panel saw that can cut boards or plywood to size. They only do rough cuts that is +- 1/4 inch but most of them will try try get under 1/16 inch.

about all they can do is cut wood to length. not even sure they can rip a 4x8 sheet of plywood. ask 'em

Some people here are confused. NONE will cut to size, but MOST will make one or 2 ROUGH CUTS to lumber you purchase at the time.

you have to buy the wood there. they will make two or three cuts for you.

Typically, no. And what cuts they do make are rough cuts not to exact size.

Most stores will do this. Usually 1 or 2 will be at no charge, after that, each cut has a fee. Even so, if you do not have the needed tools this may well be worth the cost.
