Economics. Given the state of the US economy, which of the following jobs would be wiser to keep?

Job A: Global firm. Defense and Aerospace contracts in place generating over a quarter billion in revenue each year. Pays substantially less than Job B.

Job B: Family owned firm. National customers are specialty manufacturers of industrial and recreational equipment that generate around 18 million in revenue each year. Pay is substantially higher than Job A, (Roughly a 24k per year increase)

Which business is more likely to succeed and stay healthy through the upcoming contraction cycle?

Update:

Job A, is owned by an acquisitions company, that has been selling portions of the company off to foreign markets.

Job B, has been experiencing rapid growth over the last 2 years.

Pay in the US is substantially different than European countries, where workers and management are not on par, but a par 3 vs. a par 20 as in the US. If there were a gross reduction in management class pay both would do exceptionally well.
