I think my cat started marking the territory? HELP?

Hello, i have a male persian cat. He’s 1 year and 2 month. He’s toilet training, never had an accident since really young age. Today he peed on the pouf. It wasn’t like a little amount, it was a LOT. Does it mean he started marketing the territory? He isn’t neutered, i even got a female kitten so that they can live a full life. When they mark the territory, do they pee just a little bit like dogs? I don’t want to get him neutered i love them both to death, but I can’t deal with that smell if that has to become a thing. If anyone has a male cat that isn’t neutered, how you deal with that? Hes an indoor cat, never leaves the house

Get all your animals neutered, you will soon be up to your neck in kittens otherwise!

You realize that Persians due to their big heads often have problems giving birth, needing a C-section delivery? And that now that he has started spraying, he may continue ESPECIALLY if you allow him to breed? Females are horrid when in heat, and can develop pyometra which is a deadly infection of the uterus. Get a clue - they do not need to breed to have a "full life". Cats and other animals mate from instinct, not because they want a family. Get him neutered and her spayed - or your house will soon smell like a sewer. Nothing reeks like unneutered cat urine and it's nearly impossible to get the smell out.

Oh, FFS. You may "love" cats, but you seem to know precisely zero about them. Male cats mark their territory by spraying urine. Your female kitten will probably do the same, and the noise intact female cats in heat make is intolerable. And then there's the fact that she'll produce litter after litter of kittens.

    Get your cats desexed-- *now*.
