Should Canada repeal and replace it’s national healthcare system?

People do not find out how seriously deficient socialist medicine is until they get seriously ill and are denied advanced treatments.

The reps have all 3 levels in DC and couldn't repeal the ACA because they don't have a better plan.

The right wing decided capitalistic health care is better ... better for who? ... not the citizens when cost prices them past what they can afford.

Only if someone can come up with a better idea. In the US, Republicans want to repeal and replace Obamacare for only partisan reasons. They have no better ideas. In fact Obamacare WAS their idea, something they fought for for years. It was only after a Democratic president got it done that they decided it was the Worst Idea Ever.

I think the Single Payer idea has shown itself to be the best, fairest, most efficient way to provide universal health care. To be fair, someone MIGHT find a better way, and in that case the idea should be considered. But it shouldn't be R&R'd just because someone in a different party liked it.

Replace it with what? Try taking away "free" healthcare and watch people rebel. Politicians would lose their seats in a term.

You can't take people's delusions away from them. They have to experience cataclysmic failure first.
