Is uber available in Florence Italy?

Use the taxis and other forms of public transportation. It's not smart to get into the car of a total stranger in the US, unless it's a licensed taxi driver; it would be even stupider to do it in a foreign country.

They don't yet have Uber there as we have it here, but if they did, I would never use it. I used to live in Italy. I love the place, but foreigners can easily be taken advantage of there in a variety of ways.

Use the public transport that's already there.

There's already been numerous cases of Uber drivers picking up girls and raping or Killing them.

Yes it is available but only the more expensive Uber services with licenced limo drivers, not the cheaper services like in the USA. It's going to be comparable to a regular taxi.
