how to transfer messages (SMS) from android Mi4 phone to windows PC.Mi PC suite is useless as it displays only chinese characters?

    Just send the message to your e-mail address.

    Instead of sending a text message to a cell number type in your e-mail address in the recipients box and then send the message. You can send it to any e-mail address.
