Is Socialism as bad as Slavery?
Socialism requires taxing people with higher incomes to give money to those who earn less. Is this example of forcing one person to work for another's gain an example of slavery where one person was forced to work for another's personal gain?

True socialism is the same as slavery - - the government controls "the factors of production" (the plantation) and decides the civic role of every citizen (slave)

No Mr. Troll, quite the opposite. Slavery is uncontrolled capitalism. A lot of bad people call themselves socialists in an effort to cover their greed and violence. That doesn't make them socialist.

There is way more to it than that. Do more research.

Socialism is a good concept that can actually benefit everyone.
Look at Norway for example.

No
In fact it is so far from slavery, you should go sit in a corner and think of what you've done.
I'll be raping your mama while you do that, then I'll have you beaten and find someone to rape you too. If you object, I'll slay you out of hand after beating you to death.
That is what it is to be a slave, not just being butthurt about someone taxing you for making a huge amount of money in a society, where some people don't have enough to eat.

We almost all work for the great personal gain of a tiny, tiny number of VERY rich individuals.

Taxation is used to provide your country with a decent infrastructure, roads, bridges, street lights, safe public transport etc.
It also pays to ensure that the children in your country are educated, essential in any modern industrialised world.
It also pays to keep you safe, for your police force, military and those people who come to help you if your home is damaged or destroyed in a natural disaster.
It also pays for Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare, unemployment compensation, veterans benefits and the like.
In those most socialist countries in the modern industrialised world, Sweden, Holland, Belgium, New Zealand, Canada and many less socialist countries. it also pays for a health system based on need not ability to pay.
Those with the highest incomes, gain the most from a country who ensure they have a good infrastructure to transport their goods, a healthy well educated workforce a well funded police and military which them even more money. so why shouldn't they pay more for it?
Everyone works for others and those others benefit from their effort, those who benefit the most being required to contribute the most has nothing to do with slavery, it is called being civilised.

Nonsense. Communism is slavery while mild socialist policies are civilised and enabling.

It's yet another form of oppression brought to us by the Democrats, but no I would not compare it to slavery.
