Most theists don't care. Catholics do, and some who care what becomes of their brothers-in-Christ who happen to be in the Catholic Church.
The Pope is wrong to sidle up to the Chi-Coms, adopt the "Patriotic Church" as Catholic, and throw the underground Catholic Church, long-suffering these many decades, to the wolves. It's really sad.
