To clarify, I'm asking whether kidnapping, treason, grand theft, or a different crime has the longest time limit before a person can't get arrested for committing that crime years ago. And how long: 20 years? 30 years?
I know there is no statute of limitations on murder, which is why I said "other than murder".

There is no statute of limitations on murder. There are over 55 state and other jurisdictions in the US, all with unique laws. Then there is federal and international law.
