Is there a way to stop my computer from making that annoying "bling" noise?

Is there a settings where i can over-ride the bling when I reset the volume etc? It really pisses me off.

I'm assuming you are using Windows 10.

Right click on the volume icon and the menu that comes up should have an option named "Sounds". Click this, and you will be taken to a window that allows you to assign sounds to certain OS events. There will be a list of OS events under the label "Program Events". Scroll through and click the event named "Default Beep". Then, under the label "Sounds:", scroll up through the drop down menu under that label until you find the option "(None)". Then, hit OK.

This will disable the ding that happens when you adjust the volume, or when you provide input when it doesn't want input.

Turn the sound off before adjusting the volume, then turn it back on.
