What are the ranks in the cia?

Okay so I’m writing a story and one of my characters has a dad who works for the cia so I want to know what rank would he be he’s about in his late 30’s early 40’s so if anyone could tell me what are the different jobs and ranks in the cia that a person of his age would be it would be a real help to me

They don't have ranks, they have pay grades which aren't the same thing at all.

They're also not supposed to discuss such things, even with family.

There are no "ranks". It is not a military unit.  There are job positions.

Its a GS rating. It would depend in how long and what section he works in. There are section chiefs, field operators, analyst, covert ops. Many many titles.
