How do you stop stigmatising a mental health problem ?

I have a PD and honestly I am embarrassed and ashamed of it, to the point where I don't tell the people who really should know (family, s/os, work)

Some people will also be bigoted about it so be careful who u choose to tell. Gague their personality first.

Can you help it? Did you ask for it? No and no.

You need to stop whining and realize some people are not gonna like you.

I also have EUPD and it's much easier to tell people that you have bipolar as people just don't understand PDs.

Mental health is not something to be ashamed of. If we can have problems with the rest of our body, then why not our head. Mental health is recognised and accepted more and more these days, but of course there will always be the ignorant ones who generally are the nastiest. If you feel you have a mental health probably, don't hesitate to seek help and discuss it to help remedy the situation.
