Why can't we just legalize marijuana in the US already and get it over with?

I'd rather see people smoking bud over drinking any day. I wonder what the hold up is?

There was a time when lotteries were illegal in the US. They were considered immoral, evil, and unfair to the poor who might spend money they couldn't afford.

But once the government figured out a way to get in on the action and take the bulk of the profits, it was suddenly OK to have all kinds of lotteries all over the country.

It's the same thing with marijuana. Once governments at every level have figured out the best way to control and tax it like crazy to get their grubby mitts on that money, it will become universally legal.

They would have us believe it's about health, safety, and morality.

But it's really just all about the money.

    The dirty hypocrites.

A glass of wine doesn't stink up the place in a radius of about 800 feet, nor does it cause others to feel nauseated or ill. Drinking is ONLY dangerous to the one drinking it and IF it is abused. Can't say that about your disgusting drugs.
