Since Catholicism lists Peter as the first Pope?
Why then did the other Apostles and followers of Christianity not follow his lead?
They established their own churches and planted the seed of Christianity across the known world.
Paul, Timothy, Philip, James, John, Luke, Mark and so on.......
None answered to Peter.

The ones who were not martyred did follow his lead. We know this from the letters of Polycarp who was a disciple of John. We also know this by letters from Clement who was a disciple of Peter. You say "they established their own churches" but this is not the case. We know this because we have letters from the bishops of these churches that succeeded the Apostles who established them. In all of these letters we see a homogeneous church, in which permissions and advice was inquired by whomever was the bishop of Rome at the time. You see, there is proof of this.

The same as today each bishop governs his own diocese but under the control of the pope(Vatican).
The apostles you listed all recognized peter as the the first pope.

Good point. And Paul actually rebuked Peter in Galatians chapter 2 as being wrong on something he did. Plus, Peter was married (Jesus healed Peter's mother in law), and Peter said "silver and gold have I none". :)
