No. Tax payers don't fund the official royals for official or personal expenses. Tax payers fund police protection. Tax payers could tell Parliament to allow the royals to pay for that expense as well, but the British government makes hundreds of millions of pounds through the Crown Estate's overflow, and paying for police protection would mean less money for the Treasury.

Yes, they should advertise those late night ad's for contraceptives and "Love toys". im sure they would inspire me to buy loads and loads of these things.

And we hardly pay anything towards them anyway - the average tax payer contributes about £1 a year.
The royal family brings in £400 million a year in private revenue of which, under the Sovereign Act 2011, the government keeps £360 million.
They bring in £1.8 billion per year in tourism.
With them, the country is better off by £2.1 billion a year.
