Why is it so important to liberals to force everything in society to be gender neutral?

It's a philosophy that doesn't make any fvking sense. Women should enjoy their femininity, and men should enjoy their masculinity. Transgenders can be whatever their souls identify with.

cause it doesnt make sense to say you should like certain things and hate certain things based on whether you have a penis or not. you should let your brain decide, not some genderstereo types placed on your penis by religious conservatives.

Gov. Jerry Brown represents an ideology from the 1960s/1970s that believes the concept of gender itself is discriminatory because it assigns roles according to a natural order...

....in other words, when "nature" makes people "different" then the all-powerful State cannot profit by treating them all the same...

..if you notice, a lot of the measures Brown pushed in California were not about gender equity, but in fact aimed at eliminating gender as a natural concept and instead making it a man-made (and therefore subject to regulation) construct...

let's take the whole "transgender bathroom" controversy as an example... Brown framed it as a hate vs. tolerance issue... because a lot of people unable to think beyond the superficial didn't want to be seen as hateful, they supported Brown's "fairness" measures which basically allowed people to choose which bathrooms to use based on their "identity"...

...but look deeper...Brown's measures included all California government institutions...which include schools...

in short, as a result of these measures the official position of California public schools...and the California public teachers unions... is that gender is now a CHOICE...

I wonder how many parents of young kids would have supported that if Brown had actually admitted that was his goal from the start....
