argument for atheism?

If we are honest, we must admit that religions are a jumble of false assertions, with no basis in reality and the very idea of gods is a product of the human imagination. It is quite understandable why primitive people, who were so much more exposed to the overpowering forces of nature than we are today, should have personified these forces in fear and trembling. But nowadays, when we understand so many natural processes, we have no need for such solutions... no science need it and if philosophical arguments and semantics is all you got to believe in invisible entities, go ahead believe... Gee Zeus...

An IQ of 146 you should know you either have a God who sends child rapists to rape children or you have a God who simply watches it and says, ‘When you’re done, I’m going to punish you, unlike us because, I would stop a person from raping a child like you say you will do, That’s the difference between us and your God... In the end you'll hide behind theism because as irrational as it is, it's comfortable... that maybe sound familiar ...are you trolling?

Its really very simple.

Atheists don't believe any gods exist. And we really don't care what you believe - if you want to believe in one or 5 or 28 gods, you go right ahead.

Atheism has nothing to do with cosmology or "daddy issues" or political positions or any of the rest of your rant.

If God exists, then prove it.

If you want to believe in God that's your choice.

Atheists don't agree, and that's our choice.

I don't know what you want to consider this. but let me give you something rather true straight from the mouth of the atheist right here on Yahoo. We are the default belief, we were here before God and religion was invented. Babies are born not believing in God so they're atheist by default.

Well friend if the atheist statement is to be believed. then they are the ones that invented the idea of God and religion! It's time to hold those people responsible for inventing a belief that has literally killed billions of people since history began! Okay atheist you said you're the default belief you were here first. So it must have been an Atheist that invented God and religion. Why should people not hunt you down and put the entire group of you out of your misery for what you have done to humanity?

You wont get an argument from this atheist, I have just been unconvinced by any of the faith based evidence presented to me by preachers, family, teachers and friends. There are no tenets or basic beliefs that I can present for you to analyze and judge, it's just my position on one claim (that a god or gods exist) that I do not believe

Theists feel an unsupported emotional certainty

that some hypothetical deity,

that they happen to be imagining,

is actually real.

Atheists don't.

There is no need for an argument

for or against someone

who is not feeling

the irrational emotions

that you are feeling, so powerfully.
