What does it mean to you if you have ever heard that some will enter heaven with the smell of smoke on them?

I know, just asking others

Too close to the fires that burn incessantly. These ones barely escaped. Better to get in; with the Sweet aroma of Jesus, faith, prayers... but all who do enter in with thanksgiving, praise and great relief!

This refers to the man that continues in his Wicked sin turn this man over to Satan so that his body can be punished and destroyed and the man can come to his senses and in the end he can be saved although be his salvation will be like a man that is just run out of a burning building escaping from the fire with nothing but himself!

They probably just got purged in the fires of Purgatory.

May everyone have a most blessed and joyous Advent Season.

I've never heard this. Maybe the saying refers to incense and implies that a heaven-bound person is especially holy.

It reminds me of a scene from a movie about St. Bernadette. She was always kind of sickly and when she was a young nun, they always gave her the worst jobs because for decades nobody believed her about her vision of the Virgin Mary, and, well, let's just say it's possible that she had a learning disability. They thought she was lying to become famous and her Mother Superior wanted to teach her a lesson. Anyways, one day, she was scrubbing the toilets in the her convent when an older nun caught her snorting tobacco snuff. She told her she'd never go to heaven that way and that St. Paul nearly lost his halo because of tobacco. Irritated, Bernadette asked her if she used tobacco and of course the older nun said no. Bernadette replied, "Then you'll be canonized for sure," and the older nun stormed out of the bathroom.
