Where can I buy 5-10 feet of climbing rope?

Update:

I want to practice tying knots, setting up rappels, etc, so it doesn't need to be rope that is actually safe to climb with, it can be retired, I just need something that would work for that.

One Climbing ropes are not sold by the yard or meter.

Two why do you need to use a climbing rope?

All you need is a rope of similar diameter for knot practice.

Plus if you want to try setting up a rappel you need a lot more than 5' to 10' of rope.

Try twenty feet plus! I personally would go for thirty feet!

Anywhere that sells climbing and rigging supplies. It's usually sold by the meter or yard.

You could also try contacting a local climbing club- someone may have a rope they are retiring.
