Are logo lights required?

Does the FAA mandate logo lights for commercial aircraft like they do navigation lights, beacon lights, and landing lights?

At most airlines Logo lights can be MELed with no flight restrictions.

No, they're not required but since most large aircraft are equipped with them it is the policy of all air carriers to turn them on below 10,000 feet at night to increase the visibility of the aircraft to others
