His call for a free Palestine "from the river to the sea" was a use of language used by anti-Israel terror groups, including Hamas, that have the goal to replace Israel with a Palestinian state that would extend from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.

Hello,
Perhaps the employee forgot that he was not on a propaganda-outlet like Iranian Press TV.
When Palestinians / pro-Palestinians, claim:
“free Palestine from the river [Jordan] to the sea [Mediterranean]” /
“free Palestine from Gaza to Lebanon”,
that excludes the existence of Israel.
Quote, anti-Semitism includes: “Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination...”:
https://www.holocaustremembrance.com/working-defin...
Accusing Israel of "illegal occupation" of their own ancestral homeland denies Jewish roots in their ancestral homeland.
Denying Jewish roots in their ancestral homeland of Israel is by its very nature anti-Semitic.
The Jews cannot logically nor legally be accused of "illegally occupying" their own ancestral homeland.
Pro-Palestinian or mistaken contributors, often falsely-accuse Israel / the Jews, of an “occupation of Palestine”. However, the land is properly called Israel, not the Roman-imposed name “Palestine”. There has never been any “Palestine” sovereign state, and nor can there be any logical illegal-“occupation” by Israel / the Jews, of the Jews own ancestral homeland.
Israel left Gaza to Palestinian Autonomy in 2005, under the Oslo Accords.
Israel cannot in law be accused of illegal “occupation” for the following three reasons.
It is not possible to illegally-occupy a region, that was:
1) LAST under the illegal-occupation of a third party: This means prior to the 1967 war, the illegal-occupation by Jordan of the West Bank and East Jerusalem, and by Egypt of Gaza.
2) Where all the land in question rightfully belongs to the party, here Israel, accused of the alleged “occupation”:
All the land upon which the Palestinian colonists reside, is of previous Jewish sovereign states of the Kingdoms of Israel / Judea.
3) Where the claim of “occupation” is made by an entity, here “Palestine”, which never existed as a sovereign state.
There has never been any “Palestine” sovereign state upon which the Palestinian Arabs could either”:
> Base any claim on the land of Israel.
> Claim any alleged illegal “occupation”.
Israel is the only country to which the all the land in question can rightfully belong, since the last indigenous sovereign state in the land before Israel, was the Jewish Hasmonean Kingdom of Judea which included (what is now East) Jerusalem as its capital and also the West Bank and Gaza).
Therefore just as Israel / the Jewish People logically cannot:
“Invade”,
Or “steal”,
or “illegally-settle”,
or “colonize”,
its OWN ancestral homeland,
it also cannot logically “illegally-occupy” its OWN ancestral homeland.
The only valid prior name for the land belongs to the previous indigenous sovereign states before the Re-establishment of Israel in 1948, being either Jewish Israel or Jewish Judea (see examples below).
A view regarding Israel as being in “illegal occupation” of any part of the Jewish People's ancestral homeland of Israel / Judea is typically due to:
Anti-Semitism and
the pro-Palestinian influence of both the Arab-dominated United Nations, and the European Union (which funds and politically-supports the Palestinians).
United Nations polices are fully-complicit with Palestinian propaganda denying Jewish roots in the land of Israel. The U.N. and its structures have for many years been dominated by the block-vote of up to 56 Arab and additional Islamic-aligned countries (e.g. U.N. member states that are also members of the “Organization of Islamic Cooperation”), plus the influence of Arab oil money; compared to Israel being just one country.
The consequence of the Arab domination of the U.N., is that the U.N. falsely-regards the Jewish People as “invaders” and therefore treats the Jews as “thieves” and “illegal-occupiers” of the Jews OWN land (all the areas of land are of the Jewish kingdoms of Judea / Israel), and also likewise illogically of building “illegal-settlements” there.
Resolutions on Israel by the Arab-dominated U.N. give the appearance of having been drafted for the U.N. by Palestinian-Propaganda-Central in Ramallah. On the following website the reader can learn about Palestinian propaganda that seeks to replace the history of Jewish presence in the Jewish People's ancestral homeland of Israel, with a fake Arab history, with which the Arab-dominated United Nations is now fully-complicit – see (copy to your web browser):
palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=495
Thus the reader is entitled to consider that the U.N.’s many anti-Israel resolutions carry zero moral weight.

False-accusations of “invasion”, “theft”, “occupation”, are successful Palestinian propaganda denying the Jewish People’s roots in their ancestral homeland of Israel. Dependant on the latter lies they are to be considered “invaders”, dependant on that lie comes the arch-lie of Israel being considered “occupiers”, based upon which the U.N. regards Palestinian terrorism as: “resistance”.
Since the Palestinians also claim ALL the land of Israel, they also describe Israel as “occupied”.
Pro-Palestinian contributors falsely-allege Israeli Jews all came from Europe: The Jewish People have had unbroken presence in their ancestral homeland of Israel since Biblical times - See “Demographic history of [Israel] Palestine”:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographic_history_...
The Jewish People have not only had an unbroken presence in their ancestral homeland of Israel since Biblical times, but also prior sovereign states in the land; examples:
The Jewish Kingdom of Judea (including the West Bank) with its capital of (what is now East) Jerusalem, here:
http://www.biblestudy.org/maps/kingdoms-of-judah-a...
The Jewish Hasmonean Kingdom of Judea (including the West Bank and Gaza) with its capital of (what is now East) Jerusalem, and independent as at 110 BCE / 753 BH–752 BH:

There has never been a sovereign state of “Palestine” upon which the Palestinian Arabs could base any claim to the land of Israel, or legally claim any “occupation”. Following the Ottoman Turkish defeat in the First World War, the League of Nations in 1921 authorized a British Mandate resurrecting the name “Palestine” from Roman occupation, to be an administrative region; NOT a sovereign state - an area which included what later would be today’s:
Jordan, Israel, and the Palestinian Territories - On the linked web page please scroll down and compare its second and third maps:
http://www.shamrak.com/Masada2000-HistoryofPalesti...
Under the prior Ottoman Turkish empire, they did not use any such political term as “Palestine”, but rather Ottoman-occupied Judea / Israel was within the Ottoman province of “Syria”:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ottoman_Syria
From where then did “Palestine” as a name imposed on the land of Israel, come?
The Romans imposed the term “Palæstina” (“Palestine”) on Roman-occupied Judea / Israel, resurrecting the term from the much smaller region “Philistia” (approximating to Gaza), within which the defunct Philistines had their five city kingdoms.
The Palestinians have no connection with the ancient Philistines.
The “Palestinian” Arabs may come from those who invaded and occupied the Jewish land of Judea / Israel, but it is also unclear at what point they arrived there, since they were opposed to being called a “People” until the 1960’s, when they decided it fitted with their intention to steal the land of Israel from its indigenous Jews:

I hope this helps.
