    To prefer facts and figures and opinions of the people that base on facts then can not be bias , prejudice or bigotry.

    Truth over fiction? I would hope not. If that were the case than everyone who attends colleges and universities would be quite prejudice to the acquisition of factual information.

    It is definitely opinions, and not facts. Often, ideas are passed down through family or others with no true basis of reality. The person who makes the statements believes them, so those close to them do, too.

    Unfortunately, it can work in both directions.
