Okay... first thing is first. Please stop listening to the garbage you see on main stream media.
Next, The TSA officers (such as myself) will work for as long as it takes. There will be no airport shutdown.
Once the government re-opens, payment for those hours worked during the shutdown will be remitted.

They will stay open. TSA employees have only to think about Ronald Reagan and the air traffic controllers

Despite the rhetoric, no one will have to work without pay. Even the "non essential" employees who are not at work will be paid for the days in question.

The airports will stay open for as long as the shutdown lasts. If they can't find another solution, then either the airlines or the state governments will pay the TSA agents rather than let the airports close.
