Schumer, "elections have consequences" like Schumer himself has stated, Trump won the presidency, What are the consequences of his win? it means the American People supported border security by constructing a wall. Schumer and Pelosi are on extremely shaky ground, there will be no reopening of the goverment till Trump has the funds to build the wall. You lose Chuck, Trump won't budge, because he has the election on his side, your in a lose lose situation, you should have approved wall funding long ago.

The politicians who advocated fiercely for a border wall prior to Trump, but now oppose it.

President Donald Trump believes responsibility for a government shutdown goes straight to the top, right to the president’s office. At least that’s what he said on Fox News — when he was talking about Barack Obama in 2013.

Obama and all previous Presidents. The wall should have built 100 years ago :)

Well, there was that one guy who went on live television and said "I'd be proud to do it, Chuck", and has since shot down every possible CR that would have kept it open.

I'll probably go with that guy.
