Math Question?

Is any integer (+/-/0) a plausible answer? I am aware that the coefficient of x^2 defines the concavity of the parabola but I'm not sure. Thank you.

Depending on the definition, it is most likely all integers EXCEPT 1.

Because for 1 you get a straight line and that doesn't open anywhere.

    Source(s): A parabola is most often defined as y = Ax^2 + Bx + C, A not equal to 0.

Any real number except 1 is a valid answer, whether it's an integer or not.
