If Prince Charles is so smart, how come he has only written a really bad children's book.?

Who says he's smart? He doesn't look it. He doesn't sound it. Devious maybe but he wasn't too smart when he married Diana as she wasn't prepared to be cheated on. She was used as a lamb to the slaughter. Good for her for letting the world know the real person.

He had a ghost writer for his kids book. He has written nothing of any consequence. His auto biography might be interesting, but he will never write a truthful account of his life.

He's actually written more than that. His book on his views of British architecture received attention, and that's not his only book for "grown-ups". There's one dealing with environmental issues. He's published articles as well.

The children's book inspired both a film and a ballet.

Charles isn't brilliant by any means, and he tends to be somewhat eccentric, but he's probably the most bookish and well-read member of the royal family. His interests are at least quasi-intellectual, though personally I draw the line at wifty syncretism like Laurens van der Post's.

Since when did clever people have to prove they are that, by writing books!! In any case, provided he isn't totally bonkers, being 'smart' isn't a requirement of being a senior royal (King).

He has written many books, but you won't find them all in the children's section.

Would you consider someone clever who thought Camilla Parker Bowles worthy of wanting to be her tampon?! Why heavens no! The man is obviously not intellectually/mentally suitable to be a children’s book writer, much less our next king!

Who told you that he was smart? They will never go to heaven you know!
