Its a shame they didn't wear their uniforms on the picket lines though. Yet more bad news in a week full of royal scandals. Perhaps the Queen will get one of her ladies in waiting to ring the beefeaters shop steward and explain why their pensions have been reduced.

Nothing to do with the Queen . They are all former Warrant Officers in the British Forces so already have
a large pension.

The Queen is supposed to be neutral but we all know she's a Tory, jobs at the palace have salaries that would be OKish in the north but terrible for London.

Most other companies have closed down company pensions for the staff because they are too expensive to keep going and staff aren't as permanent as in the olden days.
Employees must now get private pensions by themselves.
