The benefits of chemical cleaners outweigh the risks?

Isopropyl alcohol is a very effective disinfectant.

Bleach is a very effective disinfectant.

Ammonia is a very effective disinfectant.

Hydrogen Peroxide is a very effective disinfectant.

Soap is a very effective degreasing agent, but not a disinfectant.

It takes BOTH in order to be clean.

Plain water is also an effective degreasing agent, but not a disinfectant.

With that said, a can of sprite is a pretty good degreasing agent, especially when using a block of cheddar cheese as a scrubber.

What about that BS is a good disinfectant?

Nothing.

Why would I spend $15 on rose oil or whatever crap they use to rip people off with....

When I might as well use a can of sprite and a block of cheddar cheese and get sick anyway because it failed to disinfect?

Im sticking with my Chemical based disinfectants, and my soap.

Thank you.

:)

Plain water is a terrible degreaser.

Maybe you should be asking 'why does everything need to be disinfected?' Does it? Does it really?

When disinfection is needed, then yes, go for it. But most of us have adequate immune systems that repel a lot of infections and get fortified by mild exposure to germs. That makes disinfection overkill in cases where you just need soap to loosen and rinse the germs away, and soap overkill when you just need water. But poop and sewage? Nuke it from orbit.

unless you want to be sick, yes.

And when serving the public, it's the law, as well.

When you have kids, Failure to disinfect, and constantly having your kids sick, can also come with consequences that I just have the gut feeling, would have you moaning and groaning all over the news for 10 weeks straight.

P.S. An immune system isn't the be all and end all... it wears down and weakens as exposure occurs.

It isn't a bottomless pit of immunity.

That's good. Vinegar is a good natural disinfectant too, and lactic acid. They put lactic acid in like antibacterial Palmolive and stuff. I find bleach kills mold best, followed by vinegar, and then ammonia and alcohol. Just invest in a pair of cleaning gloves and a mask to limit harms from chemicals.
