Why do kids have to be in schools buildings to learn?

Because education is more than learning facts. Kids learn to get on with other kids, to turn up on time, and actually discuss things. They can play together, do sport together, do all the social things that we have to do in the real world. AND they get real teachers who can explain things. The facilities are better than at home - they can actually DO science. There are just so many benefits - why not take advantage of them?

School buildings have "environmental suggestions" which are conducive to learning ambitions and competitive striving in society.
To reach for the stars.
These suggestions operate beyond the conscious perception of average students.
Similarly, schools operate with PTA and teacher conferences which are held in secret.
We don't know of all the good things that they are doing, but just have to have faith and belief in our elders and authority figures.
It is true that learning resources (books) are more available than in the past.
It is true that a few scholars still fall between the cracks.
It's just the way we've always done things.
In human history, there are many buildings dedicated to different purposes and goals for mankind.
For example, churches employ symbols, ceremonies, and rituals that use psychology to indoctrinate effectively.
Traditionally, schools are centered around professional teachers who are dedicated to teaching.

they don't there is home education , classes conducted out doors
Where you are doesn't say how much you will learn
that is up to you and how much effort you put in

they don't, plenty of people are home schooled, BUT school buildings have all the equipment needed and specially trained teacher rather than a parent trying to teach you only what they remember, kids also learn to socialise with other kids there and make friends (sometime even romantically) and because of the trained teachers they will learn more about the subjects making them more likely to pass their exams

Good question. I’m home schooled and learn way better than I ever learned while I was in school
