This made me smile because I work as a grocery stocker. Agreeing with Anonymous, "When buying milk, look for the furthest expiration date."

More useless grocery trivia than you probably care to know: Your supermarket no doubt rotates its stock, so the freshest milk jugs with the furthest expiration dates are probably towards the back of the dairy cooler, while the closer-dated ones are in the front so they'll sell first.

    The "furthest" expiration date.

    The date furthest from today.
