You mean dogs/bitches. No, they aren't. Now days there are a lot of dog on dog aggression because of Backyard Breeders breeding aggressive dogs to aggressive dogs. These Backyard Breeds do NOT CARE about the pups & don't try to improve the breed in any way. Indiscriminate breeding tactics ruin many breeds. First I would blame the breeders, then the owners for not training or working with their dogs, then the dogs, as they mature you'll see more aggression, usually dog on dog aggression.

I do not choose a dog by breed, I look for a strong temperament. It is far easier to tame an aggressive dog than it is to build courage & confidence in a submissive dog. I do not like the submissive temperament at all.

Basically.....Every dog has its own genetic make up (temperament) and some are Very dominant and others more submissive. Some are nervous others are more confident. Some are Willful, others are laid back.etc.

Yes, dogs can be A bit "mean" (aggressive) but there are many types of aggression, ranging from nervous aggression to Dominant aggression, dog to dog aggression and dog to human aggression, and a lot more.

Its an issue that is far to complicated and long to type out here.

Novice owners should try and stick to submissive natured dogs as they are a lot easier to handle and train than a dominant or willful natured dog.
