What is the difference between Gospel music and Evangelistic music? From a piano playing standpoint.?
I need to play at a (Catholic) church and I want to get a certain type of sound. I don't want to play straight hymns but it probably shouldn't sound like all out gospel either. Any info you have on the various types of church music appreciated.

gospel is more greesey , evan is lighter with more guitar and kumbaya . catholic is heavy like a guiness evan is like a budweiser .
