    know their 500 Colones is worth about

    sixteen silver US dimes ? Canadian

    metal coinage is my preference for

    weekend travel north of the USA..

    Naming something, or two things, and putting a question mark after gives us no clue what you want to know about either of them. If I'm standing in front of you with two plates of sandwiches and say 'egg or cheese?' then it's easy to tell that I'm asking which you would like to have. Otherwise, not.
