Has anyone prayed a Novena?
A novena is a traditional Catholic prayer method in which a series of prayers is offered each day for nine successive days. They are offered as a sacrifice and show devotion when the prayer is asking for something specific. They aren't magic, just a way of increasing your talks with God. A novena maybe carried on in common in church, but the more popular form of the novena is private. Many novenas have been approved and indulgenced and by the Holy See, most designed as preparation for feasts. In its earliest forms, the novena was designed as a prayer for the repose of the soul of a deceased person. I remember 7 years ago, I was hoping that I would get my own apartment and at first it didn't seem possible but after my mom encouraged me to pray the Sacred Heart of Jesus novena. After praying this novena, the housing authority said that there was a vacant apartment and i accepted it. After getting the apartment, i gave thanks and praise to God. There are various novenas that dedicated to various Saints. And some to Jesus Christ and his Blessed Mother Mary. If you have any questions about a novena, i suggest you go to you local Catholic Church and ask your Catholic priest or Deacon.

We Christians should pray only to God Jehovah. Jesus did so.
Novena, Mary and other status can not help us.

I drove a NOVA.
That should get me PARTIAL CREDIT.
The human imagination is a wonderful thing.
And among the imaginings is a fascination with numbers.
Why NINE?
Multiply any number by 9, add together the digits, and the resulting figure is 9.
Even a large number.
If it comes out to multiple digits, just keep adding the digit together, and eventually, it's back to 9.
For example: 123x9= 1,107 and 1+1+0+7=9
Perhaps, from a Magical Thinking perspective, it makes PERFECT SENSE to use a magical number when dealing with a Magical Being.
But, what testable, repeatable, consistent evidence is there, that this Magical Being actually exists?

This is nothing more than superstitious nonsense and typical of the corrupt and perverted Catholic church!
How do we know?
Well, because ANYTHING that goes against God's "living and active" word is from the pit of hell!
The bible ...
tells us that God knows everything from beginning to end
tells us that God has ONE plan from beginning to end
tells us that God doesn't change His mind
... yet here you are telling us that you pray a magic formula and magic happens. The Catholic Church has found a way to manipulate God into doing what you want.
If you had any relationship with Christ you'd instantly know how wrong and stupid this is... .but who can blame you? The Catholic Church has for long manipulate it's adherents, sold them lies and taught them error.

A Jesuit, a Franciscan and a Carmelite are stranded because their old beater broke down. The Carmelite whimsically suggests they pray a novena to get a Porsche. The Franciscan says, "What's a Porsche?" The Jesuit says, "What's a novena?"

Gee, you got a public housing apartment?
Wow, that NEVER normally happens...
Go away and look up how many public housing apartments there are in the US.
Never mind, I know you're too stupid to manage that, so I'll tell you.
1.2 million.

Prayer is an unproductive waste of human time and human intellect.
Prayers get even sillier when repeated and repeated and repeated like the Rosary or the prayer ropes of the 13th Century. Monks would repeat hundreds of prayer by rote and count them to be sure that they repeated them enough to please god. (snicker)
Why does your god need the prayers to be repeated, Is he hard of hearing or is his memory failing? If he is going to answer a prayer don't you think once would be enough?
“When I was a little boy, I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realized, the Lord, in his wisdom, doesn't work that way. So I just stole one and asked Him to forgive me.”
