Why do some people think that weed will do bad things to those whom partake in it?
I will remember those things you said when I leave the $80k a year job I have, climb into my brand new car that I paid cash for, drive home to my $350k house I bought last spring to sit in front of my 70" television I bought with my bonus last year, and pack a bowl of the finest weed the dispensaries has to offer.
I'll make sure to look around and chastise myself for all the things my pot smoking has caused me to miss out on.

I feel like people were brainwashed into thinking that weed is a terrible drug that makes you addicted and a lazy slob with no future. And also that "weed is a gateway drug" crap.

Got me. A few years ago while travelling I stopped in on a couple I hadn't seen in years. Both successful professionals. They were concerned if they had enough time to smoke a joint before the kids got home from high school. I had quit decades ago for my own reasons but just for the heck of it I partook.
