Hillary Rodham Clinton did not lie, but the hidden-agenda powers-abusing, criminally partisan Congressional Republicans sure did---and all for the purpose of "lowering her [Hillary's] poll numbers," confessed (slip of his lip) in 2014 by Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). The building attacked in Benghazi on 9/11/2012 was actually a CIA OUTPOST, and the three Navy SEALs who died that night were CIA OPERATIVES under the control of then-CIA director General David Petraeus (a registered Republican). Use of a private server at the State Department was never illegal---something the Congressional Republicans knew all along. The 1955 Foreign Information Act was the only rule in place at State---a rule that required copies be kept of work-related communications, but that gave the boss of the State Department the option of deciding which communications were work-related. Hillary Clinton's private server was the one set up for her former-President husband Bill Clinton (highest possible security clearance) by his Secret Service detail---another exculpatory detail that the GOP "forgot" to mention in their criminally partisan unwarranted attacks on Hillary. No lies for Hillary (but lots and lots of lies about Hillary from the powers-abusing Koch-owned right-wing Republicans).
