Yes, and I forgot the freaking number! Frantically pushed 991 over and over again or 9911 or something like that. Meanwhile the car in front of me that had collided with an 18 wheeler went up in flames. Fortunately there were other people who knew how to dial 911 for emergency assistance...

I did not need assistance, thankfully, but I did call 911 a few times before.

Once because there was a fire in a dumpster.

Once because I got a call where the person said there was going to be a bomb at a school.

Not for myself, but to report an erratic driver or fight on the street, yes.

Yes...three times last month...nothing personal, just external problems...

Yes, Gary, I called when you posted you were an abused child, had a shotgun hidden under your bed and were suicidal.

Remember the Police coming to your house? Do you think that was random?

Usually if I locked the keys in the car. Haven't really needed their help otherwise.

Yes - but it wasn't actually for me. I lived in a house that sat close to the street and witnesses a moped that hit a pothole in the road and flipped the rider over the handlebars of the moped. It messed up their face pretty badly.

Several times. For a man who fell off my roof. [He was cleaning a chimney] And twice for my brother who had chest pains.
