Write down personal feelings on one side and professional facts on the other side of the paper and think, is this a problem to something I've taken personally or is it something thats affected my ability to work? If it's more personal you need to manage your emotions but if it's the latter I would ask my boss about his or her advice on the situation.

Depends on what the problem is, but something important (I know this from experience) is to
have verifiable evidence and remain calm while tactfully explaining it to whoever is in charge.

I called her into the office and told her that our company does not and never will condone such behavior in the workplace and that effective immediately that she was fired and security was going to walk her to her locker and then escort her off the premises.
