If I am aware of a drug dealing related cr and don t say anything could I be charged/arrested?
I am a Canadian resident in South Ontario and I m dealing with a sort of crisis, a brother of mine recently got a hold of some "weed" despite the fact that he is only 17 and is doing it totally illegally. He is also dealing it and I recently found out he s been doing it since before it was legal. Meaning he s been breaking the law for more than half a year and I m the only person who knows, can I get in trouble for not reporting this to the police or keeping it to myself?

How are you to know whether this isn't just his cover story for all the money he makes through gay prostitution?
Unless you're a witness to drug deals or are "riding along" with him as he makes "sales calls," mere knowledge of how he makes money isn't a criminal offense.

If everyone reported a pot-related "crime," then there'd be no room in the jails for real criminals. No, you won't get in trouble for not reporting it unless he gets caught by the authorities and he claims you're complicit. If you feel you must make a moral stand, then be aware you will tear your family apart, no one will ever trust you again, and it will cost your family a boatload of money to deal with it. If dealing some pot is the extent of his criminal behavior, just let sleeping dogs lie.
