No. Not surprised that users might report a question that wasn't knowledge seeking. That's what's SUPPOSED to happen. Unfortunately, it doesn't surprise me when users report, and get taken down, posts that aren't violations either.

You can appeal your question if you like. If it wasn't a violation, it may get reinstated. If it was a violation, then it being removed was appropriate.
