Is it a Jewish tradition to spent Christmas Day in a Chinese Restaurant?

    Not officially.

    Orthodox Jews are not going to eat in any restaurant that isn't strictly kosher.

    It's just that Chinese restaurants are typically open on Christmas, but aren't serving fancy Christmas meals.

    My father spent the day working in the pharmacy he owned. When I was old enough, I'd help him out. We would close earlier than usual (about 3 pm) and my mom would cook dinner at home.

    The tradition of Jews eating Chinese food on Christmas is because most restaurants are closed or take reservation months in advance for a typical Christmas dinner.

    The Chinese are not celebrating Christmas .The Jewish people are not celebrating Christmas.It goes together.

    This is not a tradition.It just makes sense.

    That might be because the Chinese are better at astronomy than ancient Hebrews . What they should spenT is time in a Egyptian fast food place as Egyptians were masters of astronomy . Jews won't admit they copied Egyptian

    gods and turned them into one god though .
