People at work ask me about my personal life. I don t want to talk about it and end up telling too much of my business. How do I stop?

    Just don't start. Then you won't have to worry about stopping.

    Let them know they are crossing your boundaries if they ask. I would... and i don''t see why people would ask personal questions at work. No one has ever done this to me, but then, i work with mature people who realize they'd be intruding if they asked.

    If you don't want to talk about it, why are you always ending up sayingg too much? Could it be that you do want to talk about it, just not with those people?

    Confide in family and friends. When you don't have an outlet for sharing how you feel, you can often end up oversharing with the wrong people.

    Have other, more interesting topics that you are "conversational with" to talk about.
