what is hallucinations really like?

I had real hallucination problem in my 20's its like watching and talking to our own inner soul its not very long later I meditated prayed got rid of them.

I haven't seen the show. Hallucinations in real life are mostly auditory and not visual. Hallucinations also tend to be more bizarre or fantastical than on tv or movies where people sometimes have hallucinations which are completely indistinguishable from real life. Hallucinations might involve hearing things which couldn't exist, like voices of demons, or someone who you know is not there.

People may seem grumpy to you when they are tired. This can be a mild form of hallucination. Everything you do or say seems wrong to them. They may believe that you are honestly trying to annoy them when you are simply offering them a cup of coffee. That may be a mild form of hallucination that you have already experienced.

The show isn't attempting to be realistic, about anything. Will's hallucinations are metaphors and characterization and plot foreshadowing.

There are all kinds of hallucinations. Will's are more like drug trips. When most people hallucinate they can't tell it's not reality.

They are real. You try not sleeping 💤 for a couple days or take some acid you will get some hallucinations. Some people just mentally ill get them all the time...that’s why they are called crazy
