If not, you will end up living in a cardboard box under a bridge and eating out of McDonald's garbage.

After things wear out, you won't have anything except ragged clothes you wear, and you won't have anything to play music ON. You won't have a phone or laptop or whatever either.

NOW is the time of your life to prepare for a future career. Don't get caught up in whether you like how your dad is. YOU can move out from him. But unless you use this time for schooling and training, you will end up wishing you could go back home.

Don't waste these years. what you do over the next few years will determine the quality of the 40-80 years of your adult life (MUCH longer than the time you will still be living at home).

I left on my 17th birthday when no one was looking. It definitely changes your life but it does not make it easier. I had to get a job, couch surf for a month until I got a really horrible apartment with a co-worker in a dangerous area in order to afford a roof over my head. And, eventually, managed to get into an alternative school that I attended during the day while working full time in the evenings. No car. No furniture. No money. The fact is that it was interesting. But it wasn't about freedom and playing music. It was about learning what hard work really is.

And how much money do you have?? $500? $1,000? and what will that get you?

You don't run away, you manage things at home until you're old enough to leave legally, and THEN you leave. You get a job, a place to live, and leave.
