What do you call a conservative who filed for medical bankruptcy because the medicine he has to take costs 5,000 dollars a pill?

And only costs 1 dollar to make.

Update:

Spock. You would be surprised what insurance companies will do to prevent paying their obligations. And you cant fight them because they have the lawyer power to weasel their way out of anything.

You left a critical piece of information out in your question regarding R&D.

The cost to research, extensively test, seek medical approvals and market the pill, far exceeds the meagre $1 to manufacture the product.

Whether this person is a conservative or not has nothing to do with the situation. At $5,000 each, the cost to medicate himself would be unsustainable.

Considering how much his insurance prices went up because of Obama, I’d call him “set up for failure”

if it really does only cost $1 to make; I would call him a fool for not making his own pills

If medication cost $ 5,000, the pratically no health insurance company will cover it.

I'd call him a victim. An unfortunate. I suppose it might change his mind, though, when it affected him personally.
