Yes. They openly admit it. Its documented in interviews and documents in various reports.
Question: Was the spying justified. Was it carried out legally. What was the genesis, motivating factors, facts on the ground that triggered the spying.
The American people deserve to know.
Was it legal?
Were the tactics and methods employed legal?
Just the facts. Democrats, Republicans, CNN, MSNBC and FOX's opinion on the matter really are ALL meaningless.

Why would your semi-mythical Deep State launch an open investigation if it was spying on Trump?
Wouldn't they just waterboard Eric as he is the obvious Fredo of that crime family?

A number of states are spying on Trump. Mine is, certainly. We think he is an asset of the Russian mob.

No the FBI investigated Trump because he publicly asked the Russians to hack Hillary Clintons emails and has now been admitted by Kushner and others that they met with Russians to find "dirt" on the Democrats.
Tell me if Obama had asked the Russians to spy on McCain or Romney and his election campaign had been having secret meetings with Russians to find evidence to discredit his opponents, then lied about it under oath, would you have said an FBI investigation was the "Deep State spying on Obama"
Of course not you would have been demanding he be impeached and charged with treason.
Republican hypocrisy knows no bounds.
